Asher’s first steps

While this isn’t the best example of Asher’s first steps, it is the best of what I recorded.

The last time Asher was in San Diego, the end of April, he learned how to crawl. Commando crawl we’ll call it. He just slithered on the ground following the carrot his cousin Allie led him around the table with, which was some kind of toy on a string. Since then he has mastered crawling, so I’ll make the guess that it will be about 2 months until he is an independent infant.

I want to go on record that I predicted that he’d walk in San Diego. He waited until the last day, but he proved his papa right. He and I will have a successful career of prognosticator and achiever, I’m sure.

Just an observation, but his sleep patterns were very different in the days leading up to this breakthrough. We hope his brain has recorded and stored it and allows him to go back to a more regular sleep pattern.

Congratulations to Asher for his breakthrough!
